Transmission Control Module, Resetting the Adaptation Values

• The adaptation values in the transmission control module must be reset after performing a repair to the valve body, for example replacing the solenoid valve, or the replacing the valve body, the torque converter or the transmission. The adaptation values for standard operation are learned faster in the transmission control module after bringing vehicle into operation again.

Reset the adaptation values in the transmission control module under the following conditions:

• If the multi-pin connector was disconnected from the transmission control module for at least 15 minutes. Refer to => [ Transmission Control Module ] 01V,01VA Transmission

• If the battery was disconnected for at least 15 minutes.
