Compressor Drive Plate with Overload Protection
- Remove compressor. Refer to => [ Compressor, 4- or 6-Cylinder ] Compressor, 4- or 6-Cylinder.
Removing
- Remove bolts - A -.
• Use a commercially available band wrench (with webbed band) to counterhold at drive plate - C -.
Installing
- Position drive plate with overload safeguard - B - onto drive plate - C -.
- Insert bolts - A - and tighten them by hand.
- Check run-out of drive plate - B -. Refer to => [ Compressor Drive Plate with Overload Protection, Checking Run-Out and Adjusting ] Compressor Drive Plate With Overload Protection, Checking Run-Out and Adjusting.
- Tighten bolts - A - (tightening torque 10 Nm).
- Check run-out of drive plate - B - again. Refer to => [ Compressor Drive Plate with Overload Protection, Checking Run-Out and Adjusting ] Compressor Drive Plate With Overload Protection, Checking Run-Out and Adjusting.
