Procedure

- Disconnect electrical connector at Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor (G62):

• Vehicles with 3.2L FSI engine, Refer to => [ 3.2L FSI ] Engine Coolant Temperature Gauge Sensor Connector.

• Vehicles with 2.0L TDI engine, refer to => [ 2.0L TDI ] Engine Coolant Temperature Gauge Sensor Connector.

• Vehicles with 3.0L TDI engine, refer to => [ 3.0L MPI ] Engine Coolant Temperature Gauge Sensor Connector.

Terminal assignment of the 2-pin harness connector at Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor (G62)





1. Sensor ground (GND)

2. Wire connection from Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor (G62) to engine control module
